Right-Wing Terrorist Accused in Fatal Oslo Stabbing; Police Investigate Connections
An 18-year-old Serbian immigrant has been charged with murder with a terrorist motive following the fatal stabbing of a woman at a youth home in Oslo over the weekend. The suspect, identified as Djordje Wilms, is accused of killing 34-year-old Tamima Nibras Juhar, an employee at the home where he resided.
The attack occurred late Saturday night into Sunday morning at a child welfare residence in the Kampen neighborhood. In police interviews, Wilms admitted to the killing and stated it was politically motivated. The investigation has uncovered that he allegedly planned further attacks on mosques after the initial murder.
Wilms, who moved to Norway from Serbia as a child and is a German citizen, has been linked to far-right extremist circles. Police have confirmed that his ideological leanings were the primary motivation for the crime. According to reports from the news outlet Filter Nyheter, Wilms was an active participant in a Telegram channel associated with the far-right Norwegian political party, Alliansen. In chats, he reportedly expressed extremist views, writing, “I see what immigrants are doing to us,” and “F–k the entire government in Norway today. They are just destroying the country even more. Just because of that damn democracy that is destroying the Nordic future.”
