Police believe threat made to Conway High School could be ‘AI generated hoax’

Officers were on the scene investigating a threat made to Conway High School on Tuesday morning, according to the Conway Police Department.

Police said they believe the call made to the school around 10:08 a.m. was an “AI generated hoax threatening that a shooter was coming to the school.”

The hold that was in place for students has been released, according to police.

They said there’s no active threat or danger to students or staff at this time.
