N.J. man torched house, spray-painted swastikas in antisemitic crime spree, cops say
An Ocean County man is facing 36 charges in an antisemitic crime spree that included burning down a home and scrawling antisemitic graffiti on multiple other houses in what authorities called a targeted attack against Jewish residents.
Ron Carr, 33, of Manchester, was arrested Wednesday shortly after investigators say he set fire to a home in the Pine Lake Park section of Manchester at about 3:10 a.m., the state Office of the Attorney General said Friday.
The fire, which was ignited with an accelerant, destroyed one home and caused heat damage to three others before being extinguished by firefighters. No one was injured.
