How Our Fusion Center Works With Other Agencies

Regional Information Centers

Regional Information Centers (RICs) consist of a combined body of agencies governed by an advisory board that collectively determines the direction and focus of the RIC. MCAC is a voting member at each RIC.

RICs serve as part of the "Hub & Spoke" for the MCAC.

Mission

RICs collect, evaluate, collate, analyze, and disseminate information on illegal, criminal, or gang-related activity identified as a priority to the RICs (Advisory Board). The RICs strive to be the repository for the collection and dissemination of information between local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in an effort to be proactive in initiating criminal investigations.
