McCalla man arrested for making terroristic threats to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa
Officials in Tuscaloosa have arrested a man after they say he made terrorist threats to the DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa Saturday.
Jeffery Chase Jones, 35, of McCalla, sent threatening messages, that included pictures of weapons, to DCH employees. After the messages were sent, officials responded to the hospital at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon and conducted a thorough search of the facility.
Authorities identified Jones as the suspect, and members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force and Tuscaloosa Police Department took Jones into custody Saturday night in Bessemer.
