Police identify suspect in College of Veterinary Medicine arrest

Oro Valley Police were on scene at the College of Veterinary Medicine in Oro Valley.

Police say they responded to a call for unknown threats.

The single suspect detained has been identified as 39-year-old Daniel Rathgeb from Sierra Vista.

OVPD says Rathgeb was arrested and booked on charges of disorderly conduct, weapons misconduct, and threats & intimidation.

According to police, the weapon used was a knife and there were no firearms involved. The knife was was not used in any assault.
