Maine man accused of using drone to target victims with explosive devices

Maine State Police arrested a man for allegedly targeting people in the Aroostook County town of Woodland with improvised explosive and incendiary devices.

Joshua Brydon, 37, of Woodland, was arrested Saturday following an 18-month-long investigation, according to Maine State Police spokesperson Shannon Moss.

Several of the devices were dropped by drone and others were placed or thrown by hand, Moss said.

Brydon was charged with five counts of arson, one count of attempted arson, six counts of criminal use of explosives, two counts of stalking and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
