A 15-year-old boy is being held on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder after an explosive device found in his backpack prompted an evacuation of Ponderosa High School on Tuesday.

On Thursday, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said that the teenage suspect, who was not named, is being held with no bond on suspicion of:

Attempted first-degree murder
