PA woman arrested after threatening children and youth services office in Lycoming County
A woman is facing threats and related charges after sending threats to a children and youth services office in Lycoming County.
McCray was upset her child was placed in protective custody and sent multiple threatening texts to a caseworker at the Lycoming County Children and Youth Services Office.
She then called the office and said she was going to “go get a gun and shoot up the building.” Her threats caused the office to lock down, disrupting government offices. Sheriffs then secured a perimeter around the building.
Felony charges were placed against her, and a warrant for her arrest was issued.
Officers located McCray and took her into custody on Tuesday. She was arraigned and is locked up at the Lycoming County Prison on a $75,000 bail bond.
She is charged with threats and other improper influence in official or political matters, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, and disorderly conduct.
