FAIRMONT, W.Va (WDTV) – Two men were sentenced to spend years in prison Tuesday for their roles in a 2022 Pagan Motorcycle Club murder of Henry Silver in Marion County.

Derek Clem, 30, who was found guilty of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit a felony in December, was sentenced to spend life in prison. Judge Matthew Delligatti sentenced him to life with mercy, which means he will be eligible for parole, on the first-degree murder charge and one to five years on the conspiracy charge. Those sentences will run concurrently — or at the same time.

Dane Hull, 29, who was found guilty of conspiracy to commit a felony and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony in November, was sentenced to 15 years on the firearm charge and one to five years on the conspiracy charge. Judge Delligatti ordered those sentences to run consecutively — or one after another.

Hull’s defense attorney told 5 News they will be filing for a new trial.

Another man, Austin Mullins, was sentenced to spend 40 years in prison Monday for his role in the crime.

Silver was shot and killed on September 9, 2022 in the Carolina area of Marion County. John Wolfe, a member of the Pagan Motorcycle Club, learned of a hidden relationship involving Silver and his girlfriend. Deputies alleged that Wolfe then conspired with other members of the club, including Clem, Hull and Mullins, to murder Silver.

Wolfe was found guilty of Silver’s murder in April 2024 and sentenced to life in prison for first-degree murder in June 2024.

A sixth man who was arrested — Ryan Lane — has been indicted on two separate occasions for his role in the case — in October 2024 and February 2025. However, he has not yet stood trial. Lane was arrested after texting Wolfe about the situation and saying that they need to “handle that f——,” according to court documents.
