South Carolina man faces charges for sending threats to a public official through Facebook
A South Carolina man is facing charges after threatening to kill a public official and his family through Facebook.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged 31-year-old Daniel Aaron Ledford with financial identity fraud, stalking, and threatening the life of a public official on April 17.
The Horry County Police Department requested the SLED investigation.
According to arrest warrants, between May 11, 2024, and June 8, 2024, Ledford sent messages on Facebook to a public official, threatening to kill him and his family.
