IED attack injures local law enforcement, civilians in Colombia
On 18 May an improvised explosive device (IED) concealed in a trash container remotely detonated near the El Diamante police station in Cali, Colombia. Three law enforcement officers in patrol cars sustained injuries, along with at least four civilians, including children. There were no reported fatalities; however, the explosion caused additional damage to neighboring homes and vehicles. It is unknown who placed the IED.
