Teen charged with terrorism linked to past arson case, court documents reveal
New details have emerged about a teenager who is facing terrorism charges for allegedly plotting an attack against Rhodes Middle School.
Previously, T.H. was in court last year, accused of setting fire to an apartment building on the northwest side of San Antonio.
The fire, which occurred in June 2023, started in a utility room at a complex off Oakdale near Fredericksburg Road and displaced several families. Sources indicate that T.H. was allegedly caught on video entering the empty utility room before the fire began.
Court documents reveal that T.H.’s arson case ended in a mistrial and is now under review by the Fourth Court of Appeals. If the court upholds the lower court’s ruling, T.H. cannot be retried for the same crime.
