Man stored 14 explosive devices in safe inside Lebanon County home with kids: DA
The Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office has released new information in the evacuation of a quarter mile radius of a neighborhood in Lebanon County, after it was reported that there was an explosive device in the area Tuesday morning.
Officials said a woman went to police in Berks County to report a Protection From Abuse (PFA) violation from Timothy Shaeffer Jr., of Columbia, and while speaking with police, reported that Shaeffer had a safe full of explosives at a home in Newmanstown.
When police arrived to the home, located at 11 Central Drive, they learned Shaeffer had informed the homeowner of the safe, and the fact that there was explosive material inside.
