Man arrested for violent threats against Ute fans ahead of BYU/Utah football game

One man was booked into Emery County Jail after allegedly threatening to shoot University of Utah fans ahead of the intra-state rivalry football game with Brigham Young University.

The Utah Department of Corrections confirmed the suspect, Christopher Tai Justice, 28, was taken into custody after he was linked to the X account, @juiceisloose328.

On Oct. 14, the user behind the account posted, “I’ll be in LES (LaVell Edwards Stadium) Saturday. Any Ute fan I see is dead. Mark my words.”

When another user responded, telling Justice to log off, he replied, “nah anyone wearing red on Saturday is getting shot.”

Sports fan Spencer, who asked that we use only his first name, said he has attended both BYU and University of Utah home games and reported the post.
