Package with vials of ‘explosive’ substance sent to Arizona Supreme Court building, officials say

Law enforcement officials responded to the Arizona Supreme Court building in downtown Phoenix on Monday to investigate a “suspicious package” sent to the building’s mail room.

The package contained multiple vials and two of them held a substance that “tested positive for homemade explosives,” officials said.

A complete sweep of the building was conducted and the package will be removed for disposal, officials said.
