Northshore brothers accused in Hamas funding pipeline face new charges; wives arrested in Medicaid fraud case
The wives of two Northshore brothers accused of helping funnel money to Hamas have been arrested along with another family member in a separate Medicaid fraud investigation.
It comes just days after Abdel and Omar Adhami, both of Covington, were arrested. The two already face federal charges accusing them of providing money to a financing network connected to Hamas.
Now, the brothers face additional state charges after investigators said they and three relatives underreported their income while receiving Medicaid benefits.
