Northern Ireland man charged in relation to planning mosque attack
A County Down man has been charged with terrorism offences as part of an investigation into right-wing extremism.
Connor Pollock, 38, of Croob Park in Ballynahinch, appeared in Downpatrick Magistrate’s Court on Thursday charged with withholding information about the preparation of a terrorist act.
The charge relates to a planned attack on a mosque by a group identifying itself as the Irish Defence Army.
Pollock is also charged with the possession of records or documents useful to terrorists.
