Bristol man charged with preparing terrorist acts

A man has been charged with the preparation of terrorist acts.

Mohammed Mohamoud, 21, of Francombe Grove, in Horfield, Bristol, was charged with by Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) on Monday.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court later.

Mohamoud was arrested after an investigation by officers from CTPSE on 20 January, who were supported by Avon and Somerset Police and the West’s own counter terror unit.
