Investigators looking into Pawtucket shooter’s time in Maine

Authorities in Maine have joined the investigation into Robert Dorgan, the person police say shot five people at an ice-skating rink in Pawtucket Monday, killing two before taking his own life.

Sources with direct knowledge of the investigation said they believe Dorgan rented a storage unit in Maine and had an apartment there.

A spokesperson for the Maine State Police confirmed the agency is assisting with a court-authorized search warrant as part of the investigation. The spokesperson would not say where the search is taking place.

The R.I. Attorney General’s office asked authorities in Maine to help with the search.
