CAPTURED| Alleged Baltimore gang member wanted in drug-trafficking case arrested in NC, agents say
BALTIMORE (WBFF) — After months on the run, an alleged gang member wanted in connection to a drug trafficking investigation in Baltimore is now in custody.
Jawaan Jordan was featured on Maryland’s Most Wanted this past spring.
Investigators say Jordan was a member of the 1800 Boys, a Baltimore-based gang that sold heroin and fentanyl, and carried out acts of violence throughout the City.
This past February, the Maryland Attorney General said Jordan was one of nine members named in a criminal indictment.
Agents tracked the fugitive to Wake Forest, North Carolina, where he was taken into custody with the help of local police.
Jordan has been extradited to Maryland and is scheduled to appear in Baltimore City Circuit Court on October 30, 2023.
