Former Palm Beach Central High School student nabbed for threatening school shooting

A former Palm Beach Central student was arrested Saturday after threatening to “shoot up” the school on Instagram, authorities say.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), the former student, 25-year-old Harold Krebs of Wellington, posted a screenshot of a series of WhatsApp messages to Instagram that included the message “I want to go shoot up palm beach central high school on Monday.”

A family member told deputies in a sworn interview that the messages were sent in a chat going back and forth between family members, and he doesn’t know why he sent them.

The reporting party told deputies that she was concerned because he had posted firearms on his Instagram in the past.
