Texas man arrested in Palm Beach County for antisemitic threats to Jewish residents

A Texas man is behind bars in Palm Beach County on accusations of making online threats to Jewish Floridians.

According to court documents, Nicholas L. Ray, 28, of Spring, Texas, was arrested Monday and charged with four counts of extortion, four counts of written threats to kill and four counts of use of two-way communications.

According to court documents, Ray sent antisemitic death threats to Joshua B. Hammer, Seth Dillon, Karol Markowicz and Laura Loomer on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter between Oct. 8 and Oct. 10.

Ray is accused of sending the threats under the username “Klaus” on X.
