Two arrested in connection with bomb threats at Conn-Weld Industries

Two men were arrested on February 9, 2026, in connection with bomb threats made against Conn-Weld Industries.

Leyton B. Jones and Gavin Hagerman are facing charges of Terroristic Threats and Conspiracy to Commit Damage to Persons or Property stemming from an investigation that began on November 18, 2025.

On November 18, 2025, a bomb threat was called into Conn-Weld Industries, a 500,000 square foot facility with over 100 employees on shift at the time. Approximately 15 police officers from multiple agencies responded, including the West Virginia State Police Princeton Detachment, K-9 units from multiple departments and eight bomb dogs. First responders included the East River Fire Department, Princeton Rescue Squad and Mercer County Office of Emergency Management.
