Man accused of flamethrower arson attempt on Tesla shop held on bail
A Portland man accused in federal court of making threats online is now charged in state court with using a flamethrower to try to set fire to a Tesla business in South Portland and stealing from his former employer in Washington County.
Multnomah County Circuit Judge Adrian Brown on Monday ordered Travis William Juhr, 41, to be held on $150,000 bail after he was arraigned on allegations of arson, reckless burning and criminal mischief.
Juhr was arrested late Friday in federal court on warrants from Multnomah and Washington counties.
He had just appeared in federal court and pleaded not guilty to two counts of transmitting threats online to kidnap or injure another person.
