Oklahoma troopers arrest wife of Crestview man killed by SWAT on explosives charge

The spouse of a Crestview man killed in a SWAT-involved incident earlier this month was arrested last week in Oklahoma after being stopped with guns and an explosive device, according to authorities.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday that 24-year-old Madeline Haner was arrested last Tuesday by Oklahoma Highway Patrol on a charge of:

Unlawful Possession of an Explosive and Use of Firearm while Committing a Felony

She is is currently being held in Oklahoma with no bond.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office also has an active warrant for Haner for a charge of Manufacturing an Explosive Device with Intent to Cause Harm or Death, which is a second-degree felony.

She is the wife of 29-year-old Antonio Haner, who died on Aug. 8 during an incident with SWAT at the couple’s home at 607 Alabama Street.

In the days leading up to the Aug. 8 incident, Okaloosa County deputies obtained a search and arrest warrant for Antonio Haner for two gun discharging charges.
