Man indicted for terroristic threats, inducing panic at Tower City
The man accused of walking into Tower City with a gun and making threats has now been indicted, according to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor.
A Cuyahoga County grand jury charged 21-year-old George Ivery Jr. for making terroristic threats for live streaming inside Tower City with a gun, pointing a gun at traffic on I-90, and shooting into the air in Lakewood, a press release from the prosecutor’s office said.
“George Ivery Jr. demonstrated on live social media that he is an unstable threat to the citizens of our region,” Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley said.
According to the release, Ivery went live on his personal Instagram account as he entered Tower City with a gun and mask over his face on Nov. 9 just after 3 p.m.
According to previous reports by the Fox 8 I-Team, a complaint shows on Saturday afternoon police started getting calls for a man making threats with a gun in the Tower City complex.
