Man charged with threats of terrorism after bomb threat in Scott County
A man is facing terrorism charges after allegedly threatening to blow up the Scott County Court House on Tuesday night.
The Scott County Sheriff’s office said it got a call at around 8:30 p.m. about a possible bomb threat at the courthouse entrance.
Officers with the sheriff’s office and the police department arrived to find 37-year-old Noah Ackerland inside with a metal box.
The Sheriff’s Office said he told investigators he would, “blow the building to pieces.”
Officers were able to get him outside and arrest him.
