Fourth man arrested following death threats against Volusia County sheriff

Another man has been arrested for threatening the Volusia County sheriff, according to deputies.

Tony Stromber is the fourth suspect to be taken into custody for threats against Sheriff Mike Chitwood.

Stromberg is accused of threatening to kill Chitwood and his family members.

According to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, Stromberg made the threats through calls to employees at the sheriff’s office, posts to Twitter and through email.

In one of Stromberg’s emails, he claimed that he was disappointed police didn’t go to his home after a previous threat made toward Chitwood, according to deputies.
