Oregon man allegedly makes threats in governmental office in Helena
An Oregon man was charged on Friday with felony threats and other improper influence in official and political matters after threatening to shoot a public servant and their co-workers in a governmental office, according to court documents.
Scott Lee McClintock, 59, was told by a public servant working at a government office at the Department of Motor Vehicles at 2100 11th Ave. in Helena that his identification documents could not be defaced or altered, according to documents filed in Lewis and Clark County Justice Court.
Documents state that after the public worker told him that, he threatened to shoot her and other employees at the office and law enforcement when he was found.
