Two men arrested after Maryland troopers find ghost guns, live explosive device in bust
Two men from Prince George’s County were arrested after Maryland State Police (MSP) seized five ghost guns, more than 600 rounds of ammunition, and a live improvised explosive device from a home in Allegany County.
MSP named the suspects as Darnell Levy Jr., 21, and Paul Thomas Baylor III, 21, both of Bowie.
The men face charges of possession of a firearm without a serial number, carrying a loaded handgun on a person, reckless endangerment, and other related offenses. They are being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center. More charges are expected.
On Feb. 19, troopers from MSP’s Cumberland Barrack went to the 13000 block of Tulip Street in Cresaptown for a firearms complaint. As troopers arrived, they reportedly heard a gunshot.
